Welcome to the 2018-2019 school year!

I believe that Assistant Principals are a vital and integral part of our CISD team, responsible for influencing the future of our students. This is not a responsibility that I accept lightly or take for granted, and daily, I accept the challenge with enthusiasm and hope for a great future of our CMS students. My consistent goal as the Assistant Principal of Center Middle School is to be the best role model possible for students, faculty and staff, both on and off campus.

I have been an educator for 27 years, teaching both 2nd and 6th grades. A 1983 Center High School graduate, I received my Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies from Stephen F. Austin State University in 1996, and in 2011, I received my  Master of Education in Educational Leadership.

I am thrilled about the opportunity of meeting and getting to know our CMS students and their families, during the course of the upcoming school year. At CMS, we hope to create a climate where students, faculty, staff, parents, and community feel welcome and valued.

I am here to support our CMS students in preparation for a successful school year and beyond, so please don’t hesitate to contact me with any questions or concerns you may have concerning your child and CMS.
I would like to wish you a terrific upcoming school year.
